See who is viewing or replying
Know when a teammate has the same conversation open, or is already writing an answer, so two people never reply to the same email.

ZevInbox shows you, live, who else is in a conversation and what they are doing. It helps you avoid answering a customer twice.
In the conversation
When teammates have the conversation open, their pictures show at the top right, next to Follow.
A green dot on a picture means that person is writing, not just reading.
Point at the pictures to see who is doing what, for example "Replying: Mei · Viewing: Jonah".
Up to three pictures show. A number such as +2 counts the rest.
What it says | Meaning |
|---|---|
Viewing | They have the conversation open. |
Replying | They are writing a reply to the customer. |
Writing a note | They are writing an internal note. |
When someone is already replying
If a teammate is writing a reply, a yellow message shows above your reply box, for example Mei is replying. You may duplicate their answer.
Check with them, or leave it to them, before you send your own. People writing the same shared draft with you do not trigger this message. See Write a draft together.
In the list
A conversation someone is replying to shows "is replying" on its row, with their name, in place of the start of the latest message.
A row can also show that a teammate has a draft reply waiting, with their name. Under the thread, the conversation then says, for example, Mei has a draft reply.
