This agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Zevop Technologies Limited ("Zevop", "we", "us"), a company registered in Nigeria
(CAC RC 1835627), for the use of ZevInbox: the web app, the mobile apps and the mail services behind them.
If you use ZevInbox for an organization, you agree to these terms for that organization and confirm you are allowed to. "You"
then means both you and the organization. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and is
part of these terms. Your ZevID account is also governed by the
ZevID terms.
You must be at least 18, and able to enter into a binding contract, to use ZevInbox.
The service
ZevInbox is a shared inbox for teams. It receives the mail sent to your organization's addresses, lets your team read, assign
and discuss it, and sends replies from your own domain. What each plan includes is described on our
pricing page.
Accounts and ZevID
- You sign in with ZevID, the Zevop account used across Zev products. ZevInbox has no password of its own.
- Keep your ZevID secure and do not share it. Each person on your team needs their own account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, unless it is caused by our failure.
- Tell us at once at hello@zevinbox.com if you think someone else has used it.
Organizations and roles
An organization is the account that subscribes to ZevInbox. Its teams, inboxes, domains, members and mail belong to it. The
person who creates it is its first owner.
- Owner
- Controls the organization: billing, the plan, ownership, and deleting or restoring it. An organization can have more than one owner.
- Admin
- Manages members, teams, inboxes, domains and settings, and can see and pay invoices.
- Member
- Works in the inboxes their teams give them.
Owners are responsible for who they invite and what access they give. When we need a decision about the organization, we act
on the instructions of its owners.
Acceptable use
ZevInbox is for answering and sending your organization's own mail. You must not use it to:
- send spam, unsolicited bulk mail or marketing to people who have not agreed to receive it;
- send phishing, malware, or anything meant to deceive the recipient about who you are;
- send from a domain or address you are not allowed to use, or forge headers;
- send or store anything unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy;
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone;
- probe, overload or get around the security or limits of the service, or access data that is not yours;
- resell the service or use it to build a competing product.
Each plan has a monthly sending limit, counted in recipients a calendar month (Starter 1,500, Team 10,000, Business 40,000; 300
during a trial). There are also limits on recipients per message, message size and the rate of requests. We pause an
organization's sending automatically if its bounce or complaint rate shows it is mailing people who did not ask for it, and
resume it once the cause is fixed.
Your content
The mail, attachments, notes and other material your organization puts into ZevInbox ("your content") remain yours. You give
us permission to host, copy, process, scan, index, display and transmit your content only as needed to provide, secure and
support the service for you. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.
You are responsible for your content and for having the right to send and receive it. For personal data in your content, you
are the controller and we act as your processor, as our privacy policy explains. We process it only on
your instructions, keep it confidential, help you answer requests from the people it concerns, and delete it when your
organization is deleted.
Domains and delivery
- You may connect only domains you own or are allowed to use, and you are responsible for their DNS records.

We scan incoming mail and may reject, mark as spam or quarantine messages that look dangerous. A quarantined message is
released only by an owner or admin.

We send your mail in line with email standards, but we cannot guarantee that another provider will accept it, deliver it to
an inbox or deliver it on time.
Plans, trials and billing
The trial
- A new organization starts with a 14-day trial on the Team plan's limits. No payment details are needed to start.
- During the trial, sending is limited to 300 recipients a calendar month.
- Each person gets one trial. An organization created by someone who has already had one starts on a paid plan.
- If you pay before the trial ends, your paid period starts when the trial would have ended.
Prices and invoices
- Prices are a flat amount per organization, in Nigerian naira, billed monthly or yearly. A year costs the same as 10 months.
- Prices exclude VAT and other taxes. Where tax applies, it is added on the invoice as its own line.
- We bill by invoice, paid online through ZevPay Checkout. Invoices are emailed to the billing email on your profile.
- A renewal invoice is issued 7 days before a monthly period ends, or 14 days before a yearly one, and is due when the period ends.
- A change to a plan's price does not change what you pay on your current plan. We will tell you before any change applies to you.
If an invoice is not paid
- When a period ends unpaid, you keep full access for 7 more days.

After that, the organization becomes read only. Mail still arrives and everyone can read, search and download it, but nobody
can send, reply or change anything except billing.
- After 30 days read only, the subscription is canceled. The organization stays read only, and paying an invoice restores it.
A trial that ends without a plan chosen follows the same read only and cancellation steps.
Refunds
Payments are for the period invoiced and are not refunded, including when an organization is canceled or deleted during a paid
period, except where the law requires it or we have charged you in error.
Cancellation and deletion

An owner can cancel at any time. The plan runs to the end of the paid period and is not renewed. After that the organization
is read only, so you can still read and download your mail.

An owner can delete the organization in Settings, General. Its addresses stop receiving mail at once. It can be restored for
30 days, and is then permanently deleted with all its mail. Invoices and payment records are kept as tax law requires.
- Before you delete, download any messages and attachments you want to keep.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access to ZevInbox, for one person or a whole organization, if these terms are broken, if the law
requires it, or to protect people, recipients or the service from harm. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a
chance to put things right. If we end the service for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund any prepaid time you have
not used.
Availability and changes
We work to keep ZevInbox available and your mail safe, but the service may sometimes be interrupted, for example for
maintenance or by a problem with a provider. Incoming mail that cannot be accepted is normally retried by the sending server.
We may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something important you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
Our service and brand
ZevInbox, its software, design and the Zev and ZevInbox names and logos belong to Zevop or its licensors. We give you a
limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it
without owing you anything.
Warranties
We will provide ZevInbox with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided
"as is" and "as available", and we give no other warranties, including that it will be uninterrupted, error free or fit for a
particular purpose.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused
by negligence. Subject to that:
- neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill;
- we are not liable for loss caused by your failure to keep your account secure or to follow these terms;

our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the fees your organization paid us in the 12 months
before the event that caused the claim.
Your responsibility to us
You will cover our reasonable losses and costs from a claim by someone else that arises from your content, or from your use of
ZevInbox in breach of these terms or the law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any
dispute. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live. Please contact us first: most
problems can be solved by email.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or the law changes, and will change the date at the top. For a significant change,
we will tell owners by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep using ZevInbox after that, the new
terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
