Every message is scanned for spam, phishing and viruses on the way in. Possible spam goes to its own folder. Anything dangerous is quarantined.

A virus, a phishing attempt, a message pretending to be from your own domain, or a dangerous attachment. Its text, links and attachments are hidden from everyone until an owner or admin reviews it.

A file with a virus in it is never released, by anyone.
Spam is out of every view, and nobody is notified about it.
Mark something Not spam and trust its sender, or mark it as spam and block the sender or their whole domain. Spam is deleted after 30 days.
